Our goal is to bring together our local community enabling families to make new connections, have a safe space to be and to feel connected whilst raising our next generation.
- Age: Children 0-5.
- Time: 8:45 am to 10:15 am every Thursday
- Who: A responsible adult (parent, grandparent, uncle etc.) will be required to attend, supervise and interact in our sessions.

The benefits of playgroup are seen across all domains of children’s physical, social, emotional, language and cognitive development and communication, according to research.
You and your child will participate in age-appropriate play-based activities, including obstacle courses, catching and throwing, painting, art and craft, nature-based play, singing, dancing, storytime and fine-motor tasks. It will be a fun, interactive and active session.
These activities will be led by PSSS early years staff to ensure high quality activities, learning and interactions, although it is expected that attending adults will be involved and participate with their child/children.

- obtain consent for the named child/student to participate in the named off-site activity;
- help coordinate the off-site activity;
- respond to any injury or medical condition that may arise during or as a result of the off-site activity; and
- update school records where necessary.
The information will only be accessed by authorised departmental staff. The information will not be disclosed to any other person or agency unless we have your consent or we are required or authorised by law to do so e.g. in compliance with relevant Queensland Chief Health Officer’s Directions.
